CONNESSIONI – Global village of social commitment
Eight years ago, "CONNESSIONI – Il Villaggio Globale dell’Impegno Sociale" began as a way to bring Sardinia . This 4-day international conference gathers volunteers and social activists from across Europe and beyond to discuss solidarity, all while immersed in the authentic hospitality of the island.
CONNESSIONI works to make Sardinia a hub for third sector organisations, focusing on:
- Youth Dialogue by creating a direct line between young people, policymakers, and businesses to shape future social policies.
- Building bridges between local and international organizations to spark new projects in Sardinia and Europe.
- Exchanging "best practices" to encourage active participation and sustainable development.
Agenda of the event
- A dedicated networking space for organizations to find new partners.
- Discussions on how the Third Sector can evolve within the current European legal landscape.
- Collaborative labs focused on creating new social and tourism pathways.
- The event concludes by presenting concrete results and proposals to local and European leaders.
