Comment from one of our online volunteers

“The position provided a flexible opportunity for me to make an impact and assist TDM 2000 International in achieving its goals. I was able to further enhance my employability skills, such as team work and organisational skills. Moreover, I got the chance to apply my project management and business development expertise, while also being able to improve such. I strongly recommend an online volunteering position with TDM 2000 International to anyone who is looking to gain work experience, and/ or wants to get involved in civil society work. “The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme provided me with the opportunity to not only work on my own business idea, but to also acquire and improve my expertise and knowledge about the international NGO environment. I learned how to successfully establish relationships with other NGOs, as well as the do’s and don’ts in international project management, from the selection of participants to the final implementation of the project. Moreover, I had the chance to build long lasting relationships with other NGOs.These relationships will be beneficialin terms of partnering for projects I plan to develop with my own NGO. Overall, the time at TDM 2000 International is invaluable for the future success of my business, as well as my personal and professional development.” (Eva-Maria Elkemann, New Entrepreneur, 2012)
