Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Programme
Join us for a “life-changing” experience with the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Programme
Are you young and innovative?
If you have sense of initiative and want to realize your ideas ‘Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs’ may just be the programme for you!
The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme is an exchange programme for entrepreneurs, financed by the European Union. It offers you the opportunity to work alongside an experienced entrepreneur in another European Union country and strengthen the skills you need to develop your business. Your stay abroad can last between one and six months.
The programme provides on-the-job-training for new young entrepreneurs matching them with a small or medium-sized enterprise in an EU country (other than the country of residence) to facilitate the successful start and development of their own business ideas.
The placement is funded by the European Union and contributes to travel and living costs for the new entrepreneur for the duration of the exchange. Activities can include shadowing a senior host entrepreneur, market research and developing new business opportunities or project development, innovation and R&D.
Benefits for Young Entrepreneurs:

Get to know another European market and different ways of doing business
Strengthen your sector-specific and intercultural skills

Comment from one of our New Entrepreneurs
“The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme provided me with the opportunity to not only work on my own business idea, but to also acquire and improve my expertise and knowledge about the international NGO environment. I learned how to successfully establish relationships with other NGOs, as well as the do’s and don’ts in international project management, from the selection of participants to the final implementation of the project. Moreover, I had the chance to build long lasting relationships with other NGOs.These relationships will be beneficialin terms of partnering for projects I plan to develop with my own NGO. Overall, the time at TDM 2000 International is invaluable for the future success of my business, as well as my personal and professional development.” (Eva-Maria Elkemann, New Entrepreneur, 2012)
