Strasbourg, 21st-28th November 2010
This study session was held in cooperation with the European Youth Foundation – Council of Europe that funded the activity. The session represented the spirit of TDM 2000 International, promoting intercultural learning and understanding as a tool to support the personal and professional growth of youngsters. The overall aim of the course was to deepen participant’s competences in promoting intercultural learning by exploring facilitating methods and practices to generate optimum learning outcomes and improved performance. This was achieved by employing non-formal education integrated with some elements of formal education. The program was designed with the intention to ensure that all participants would discuss, share, and learn about the differences and similarities between each other’s countries cultures, and values. The session particularly developed the youth workers facilitating and intercultural competences, enabling them to act in their home countries.
