In the years of KUD PLAC’s activity, the society has successfuly carried out more than 500 projects, diverse in content and lasting for various periods of time. Projects include educational activities, seminars, workshops, festivals, ethno-evenings, movie-evenings, concerts, travelogue presentations, sports activities, dance performances and many more.

The biggest project entitled »Teden kulture na placu« (The week of culture in the old town centre) is a free weekly project, held in July in Metlika, Slovenia. With diverse workshops ( photography, ecology, short movie, dance, impro-liga, make-up, music, arts, tailoring, dijiridu,…) it got a reputation of the leading project in the culture and arts in the region of Bela krajina and Slovenia as a whole. During the project, the afternoon activities are connected to the evening art-performances, theatre plays and concerts. In the whole week participants have opportunity to meet their peers and other involved in the project, they can be creative and learn new skills from national and worldwide known mentors.
Till today there have been numerous participants and guests involved in the project, coming from Slovenia, Italy, Macedonia, Croatia, Belgium, Serbia, Bosnia, …

In 2010 Kud Plac got a plaquette from Municipality of Metlika for special achievements in the field of culture and arts and in 2012 got an award from state of Slovenia for achievements in youth sector.
