Our association, TDM 2000 International, is proud to have hosted the kick-off meeting of our project “TRAIN: Tracing Integration Policies through Structured Dialogue”, a Structured Dialogue project realized within Key Action 3 of the Erasmus+ programme.

The meeting lasted 3 days, from 21 to 23 of March, and was focused around an in-depth discussion among partners on the individual strengths of each partner, the management of local and international activities, and the definition of the roles and responsabilities of every partner involved.

The partners involved, 10 associations from 9 different countries, are specifically chosen for their experience and expertise in the field of active participation and efforts towards the development of the sense of participated citizenship in youths, and with the added value of having experience in the field of the complicated, but rewarding, tool of Structured Dialogue.

Moreover, the selection of partners was done in order to represent present and past European Presidencies. For these reasons the partners involved are the following: Associazione TDM 2000 INTERNATIONAL (Italy), Associazione TDM 2000 (Italy), Imago Mundi (Romania), Step Europe ry (Finland), National Youth Council Maltese (Malta), Be-Education, Equality, Sustainability (Austria), TDM 2000 Eesti (Estonia), Geoclube (Portugal), Law and Internet Foundation (Bulgaria), Centre for European Progression (Belgium).

The main objective of this project is to promote the inclusion of young migrants, refugees and belonging to minorities, to the process of development of effective policies linked to legal migration and inclusion of migrants. This process will be done thanks to the efforts of every association involved, that will work as an intermediary between youths and policy-makers and other actors involved in the law-making process.
